We’ve just wrapped up our MaxIQ Dairy Intelligence event series for 2018. These events are just one of the ways Maxum Foods share our dairy intelligence to help our customers make strategic decisions around dairy procurement. Our 2018 event series included a high calibre of speakers from Ireland, New Zealand, Germany and Australia.
Aussie dairy was the theme in Melbourne.
At our Melbourne event we had the pleasure of welcoming keynote speaker, Paul van Heerwaarden, CEO of Bega Cheese Limited. Paul provided an overview of the Australian dairy industry as well as insight into what Saputo’s growth means for the future of this industry.
Protein was the hot topic in Sydney.
At our Sydney event we were joined by Adam Newman who is the Commercial Manager (Asia Pacific) for Sachsenmilch & Whey Ingredients. Adam focused on the European dairy industry and its impact on the global market. Plus, he also discussed the use of proteins in foods and the current trends within this market.
We talked Brexit in Brisbane.
In Brisbane, Gary Lynch who is the Ingredient Sales Manager at the Carbery Group joined us all the way from Ireland. He provided valuable insight into what Brexit means for the Irish market and how it will affect the global channels of dairy products.
We wrapped up our event series in Auckland.
Our 2018 event series finished in Auckland where Director & Chairman of Open Country Dairy, Laurie Margrain discussed what the next 5 – 10 years will look like for the NZ dairy industry. Plus, we learnt the keys to the success of Open Country Dairy’s growth.
