A little bit about me: Raised in the sunny Southeast of Ireland in a town called Wexford, I have recently relocated to Australia. I grew up on a rural farm and love the outdoors. I started working in the dairy industry as soon I graduated from university, in Ireland’s largest dairy processor. I enjoy working in the dairy industry because of the fast-pace, global influence and great people that you meet.
What do I do at Maxum Foods: I joined Maxum Foods in February 2023. I work in the Food Service sales team and manage customer accounts. I strive to make my customers lives easier by securing and supplying competitively priced, high-quality bulk dairy ingredients. I do this by keeping them updated on market movements and managing local and imported product stock holdings.
Why Maxum Foods: Maxum Foods invest heavily in strengthening their team through staff training, mentorship programmes, team building activities etc. This in turn promotes a terrific culture throughout the company. The balance between hard work and good fun is always achieved.
A fun fact about me: I am relatively new to Australia but I previously lived in Sydney where I was fortunate enough to spend one semester studying at the University of New South Wales. I then fell in love with Australia (especially the climate) and knew that I wanted to come back for a longer period of time. I even ended up moving back to the same suburb, Randwick, which is known as the 33rd county of Ireland!
