A little bit about me: Originally from Victoria, I made the pilgrimage to QLD recently with the family and I believe that makes me a ‘Viclander’ until I’ve completed two decades here to become a true Queenslander. I’ve had an enjoyable 25+ year career in market leading businesses, having the opportunity to develop broad industry experience across roles spanning animal nutrition, consumer food, agribusiness, commodity and ingredient industries.
What do I do at Maxum Foods: I joined Maxum at the beginning of 2021 and my remit as Executive General Manager spans across all things in the Animal Nutrition division be it commercial, operations, procurement, technical, R&D, quality, supply chain & business services functions such as marketing and HR.
Why Maxum Foods: From my vantage point, I get to see a lot of committed Maxum people who like winning and enjoying our unique culture. I’ve enjoyed my time working in some great food and agricultural based businesses and Maxum is no exception. You will enjoy working with Maxum Foods and if you are already, you know what I’m talking about!
A fun fact about me: When I was 15, I made it on the front page of the local newspaper for bolting next door and saving my neighbours three kids and their house from a kitchen fire that got really out of hand, all while their parents were out getting fish and chips. Luckily the newspaper wasn’t online as I was sporting a mullet back then which wouldn’t do me any favours today!
