A little bit about me: I grew up on a cattle station that my dad managed in central Queensland and have always loved agriculture. My favourite pastime is ‘trying’ to raise two teenage daughters, but also kitesurfing, motorbike riding, running and general outdoor fun. I have worked in the cattle, grain, cotton and now the dairy industry for the past 25 years.
What do I do at Maxum Foods: Dustin, Dave and I started Maxum Foods in 2003 as a small dairy ingredient wholesale company and I couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved over the last 20 years. Together with an unbelievable group of people, we’ve grown Maxum into one of Australia’s leading dairy ingredient and animal nutrition companies. We’ve achieved this by employing great people, maintaining a unique culture and making life easy for our customers and suppliers.
Why Maxum Foods: To me Maxum is my extended family. You only live once – so why not surround yourself with people you enjoy spending time with and having fun along the way. This is why I love Maxum because we have been able to orchestrate this culture and make it happen.
A fun fact about me: I was actually a really high-level sportsman. Captain of my rugby team, sportsman of the year, I even broke the 400m record… and then I turned 12 years old and it has been downhill ever since!
